MARKETING Specialist (Full Time)

Our award-winning Architecture and Interior Design firm is looking to add a full-time Marketing Coordinator to our growing team of design professionals. We offer schedule flexibility, commitment to professional development and excellant employee benefits. CWS is conveniently located in the Oak Hill Village area of Scarborough, Maine. CWS traditionally works in an open office environment but are currently working semi-remotely, until regional infection rates allow us to return to our design studio full time.

Successful Candidate Must:

Coordinate all marketing activities and initiatives within the company through a solid understanding of marketing techniques with interest in delivering a consistent brand across all marketing platforms. The successful candidate will be a creative, self-motivated, detailed oriented person with excellent communication and time management skills.


  • Roll out of new strategic plan, developing framework and creating actionable items.
  • Incorporate Strategic Plan into all content to be managed below.
  • Organize, edit and structure existing RFP/Q documents.
  • Internal creation and review checklist for RFP/Q process.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media recognition.
  • Manage website and update content.
  • Develop marketing strategies in collaboration with leadership team.
  • Maintain collateral marketing material including; resumes, project sheets and support
  • Prepare for and attend market related trade shows.
  • Develop digital and print campaigns with engaging content that increases our company’s visibility in key markets.
  • Develop & implement content strategies and activities that drive company recognition and support individual market sector growth.


  • Seek new project opportunities through monitoring websites and RFP advertisements.
  • Prepare prequalification packages for prospective client and project opportunities.
  • Coordinate, communicate with and prepare responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s including assembling submissions with internal design team and consultants.
  • Prepare project scope of work proposals and initial AIA contract development in collaboration with project managers.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing/proposal preparation experience preferably within the Architectural and Interior Design, Engineering and Construction industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in Adobe Suite (primarily InDesign); graphic design skills a plus
  • Knowledge of digital market/social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Creative mind with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

ARCHITECTURAL Drafter (Full Time)

Our award winning Architecture and Interior Design firm is looking to add to its growing team of design professionals. We offer schedule flexibility, commitment to professional development and a robust suite of employee benefits. Located just outside of Portland, in Scarborough Maine, our office is located on Route One with on-site parking and is close to popular restaurants and shops.

Successful Candidate Must:

Coordinate with the firm’s architects and interior designers to develop complete and accurate Construction Documents to include, but not limited to:

  • Site Planning
  • Existing Conditions Drawings
  • Annotative and Dimension Floor Plans
  • Reflected Ceiling Plans
  • Building Elevations and Sections
  • Details & Profiles
  • Window & Door Schedules


  • 4-6 years of professional experience
  • Full Time (Hourly) Overtime may be available
  • 3 years Revit experience
  • Education in Architecture or Drafting (degree or technical certificate)
  • Ability to develop a full set of construction documents under guidance of a project architect
  • General understanding of building codes
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge in basic construction materials, means and methods and best practices
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, has a great work ethic, and works well with a team
