Interior Furnishing Consultant services were provided for the new two-story, 142,000 square foot elementary school located on the Lewiston High School campus. The facility consolidated students, teachers, staff and programs from the existing Martel and Longley Elementary Schools into one. Robert V. Connors Elementary School accommodates over 880 students in kindergarten through 6th grade, plus a Pre-K program. CWS Architects Interior Team collaborated with the School Furnishings Committee, architecture and design team and community stakeholders to develop, design and determine the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selections for the new school. FFE services were provided for all administrative spaces and program areas. The program included six pre-K classrooms, forty-two standard classrooms with collaborative learning arrangements, specialty classrooms, PT/OT suite, library, art room, music and band, STEM labs, stage with audience viewing from both the gymnasium and cafeteria, health clinic, teacher and student support spaces and an administrative suite.
