Brittany Bona

Architectural Designer

Story & Career

Brittany has always enjoyed being creative and knew she wanted to pursue a career in the design field from a young age, as her mother was a fashion designer and encouraged her creativity. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and her Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. Brittany enjoys being part of a team, which she accredits to playing sports all her life, and collegiate volleyball at both universities she’s attended. Her career started with small residential and commercial projects in Maine, then when she moved to Colorado to pursue her Masters she worked mostly on K-12 education and government projects throughout the country with a number of large-scale architecture and engineering firms in Denver. After 5 years out west, she returned to Maine to be closer to family, and to work on projects near the community she grew up in.

In her free time, Brittany likes to remain active and outdoors, with skiing and hiking being her favorite hobbies. She also enjoys playing volleyball, painting, and spending time with her family, friends, and miniature dachshund, Holly.
