Maggie Stanley, AIA

Construction Administrator, Architect

Story & Career

Maggie has had a lifelong fascination with architecture and the building trades. Inspired by her grandfather’s general contracting business and her interest in design, she pursued a career in architecture. In high school, Maggie attended summer architecture education programs and in college, worked as an electrician’s assistant.

Maggie has a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Syracuse University, is a Maine Licensed Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). As a Construction Administrator since 2018, she has proven to be an invaluable resource in helping clients turn their visions into reality. Maggie has a deep interest in how the urban built environment affects our society, the individual, and the interplay therein. As an advocate for civic engagement, Maggie has embraced the opportunity to pursue her passions of architecture and urban planning while also serving as the Vice Chair of the Portland Planning Board.

With the little free time she has left, Maggie enjoys hiking, sewing, and loves being with family and friends on the water in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Her pup, Louise, seems to tolerate all of Maggie’s pursuits enthusiastically.
