A technically complex industrial enclosure designed to safely integrate specialized processing equipment while meeting rigorous fire, safety, and operational requirements.
This project involved the design and construction of a high-bay industrial enclosure attached to the MillerCoors Water Reclamation Facility, created to support a specialized fish food processing operation.
At the center of the addition is a multi-level ring dryer system designed to process fish food sources through a carefully controlled production flow. The scale and technical requirements of the equipment demanded a tall single-story structure with multiple elevated platforms to provide safe access for operation, monitoring, and maintenance.
Given the nature of the process, the project required extensive coordination around fire separation assemblies, hazardous combustible dust control, and life safety systems. Careful detailing was incorporated throughout the building envelope and structural interfaces to address stringent safety and code requirements. Special attention was also given to egress planning and operational safety to ensure secure movement throughout the facility’s elevated work areas.
